Competing in a field dominated by some of Vietnam’s top male players, Han So-Ye and her fellow Korean teammates delivered an unforgettable performance.

From September 5-11, the event saw top-tier talent from around the region, but it was the Korean players who captured the attention of fans and competitors alike.

Han So-Ye, a rising star of the Zhixin Billiards Star Team, impressed from the very start.

In her opening match, she faced Nguyen Dinh Hoang Nam, a seasoned Vietnamese player.

Despite trailing early in the game, Han So-Ye’s composure and tactical skill came through.

She "cleared the table" to equalize the score and went on to secure a decisive 8-5 victory.

Her ability to capitalize on her opponent’s mistakes and maintain focus under pressure was clear.

In her next match, Han So-Ye took on Ho So Phat, another highly experienced player from the host country.

Once again, Han So-Ye’s precise technique was on full display as she surged to a 4-0 lead.

Though Ho So Phat mounted a fierce comeback, narrowing the gap to 6-7, Han So-Ye maintained her momentum and closed out the match with an 8-6 win.

With these two consecutive victories, she secured her place in the knockout round of the top 32.

But Han So-Ye wasn’t the only Korean player to make waves at the tournament.

Her teammates Kim Hye Rim and Kim Bogeon also claimed impressive victories against seasoned Vietnamese players.

Kim Hye Rim defeated Nguyen Anh Tuan in a hard-fought 8-5 win, while Kim Bogeon triumphed over Vo Tran Dung with an 8-4 scoreline.

These wins, especially against experienced male competitors, have caused a stir in the billiards community.

The Korean players have not only impressed with their skills but also brought a new level of excitement to the tournament.
